The idea behind this small group is like this: We’ll get together twice per month.  The first time will be spent planning a practical outreach whether it be sharing the Gospel, or meeting some need in our community.  The second time we come together will be to execute the plans we made earlier.  At least that’s the plan for now.

Our first get together will be at our house on October 10, 2007 at 7:00 pm. Please pray beforehand and keep your eyes & ears opened for opportunities to bless someone else.  We’ll pray some more and then decide on what we’ll do first.

As a church we’ve been praying that God would give us a heart towards other people like His.  We hope that this group is at least a part of His answer to our prayer.

 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” -Matthew 9:36-38
